Beautiful beaches

Hickling has an array of beaches to suit every taste a short cycle ride away from the campsite, from quiet, untouched, to those wanting to simply top up their tan, go for a swim or play a game of rounders. For the more sports minded there is plenty of room to launch a kite or go windsurfing.

Horsey Gap

One of the many un-spoilt and wonderfully quiet sandy Norfolk beaches on the east coast with the added attraction of watching the seals.

Winterton-On-Sea

An impressive sandy beach backed by superb sand-dunes, the sand dunes are nature reserve classified as an area of outstanding natural beauty.

Sea Palling

Sea Palling is an excellent dog-friendly beach 3.5 miles from the campsite, and is ideal for families cycling to and from the campsite.

Waxham

Waxham Beach is four miles from the campsite too and is one of the few beaches that not many people know about, unless you are a local or a regular visitor.

Eccles-by-the-sea

Eccles is six miles from the campsite, and is a fantastic beach of outstanding beauty – great for a quiet day with the dogs and family.

Happisburgh

Six miles from the campsite, Happisburgh beach is on the edge of an absolutely beautiful and quaint village, and has an unspoilt bay with amazing views.
